I've always had a sense I was made for more.
The problem is, in life we don't get the crystal ball road map given to us. We have to try things, see if they fit, and if they don't... we need the courage to CHANGE.
But, that's easy to say. Hard to do.
As an 18 year old fresh out of school, I enrolled in med school to become a physical therapist. I knew right from the start that it was wrong for me, so I changed path into banking. Every type... digital banking, corporate finance, retail banking, marketing, IT projects, heading up big businesses.
At the age of 40 with twin 3-year olds, a 7 year old and a full time job, I knew there was something deeply missing in my life. I wasn't living a life of purpose. I went back to university to get a degree and become a Board Certified Financial Planner.
I knew I wanted to run my own business, to live a life flexible enough to BOTH do what I love, AND watch my girls do their sport and school activities.
So I've made some tough changes...
Changes that took me from being an expert to being a newbie... changes in my life from earning a 7-figure salary to earning nothing as I started my businesses.
But I still struggle with change - saying NO to chocolate in order to live a healthy life; waking up at 5am.
So I study carefully those that make change happen to live THEIR best life.
Why don't you join me on this journey?
